Owen M. Hawkes is a Partner in KPMG’s Forensic practice with twenty years of investigations, regulatory and litigation experience. He has both accounting and legal qualifications. Prior to joining KPMG, Owen practised as a barrister for eight years, six years of which was spent as an investigating lawyer for the British Government’s Serious Fraud Office – the United Kingdom’s lead agency on financial crime and international corruption. Owen joined KPMG Forensic in 2007 and specialises in disputes, regulatory investigations and risk management.
At KPMG, Owen has been involved in numerous investigation engagements. He has also undertaken a variety of fraud, corruption and regulatory risk management engagements assisting clients with assessing and upgrading their organizational readiness and risk controls.
Owen has a range of industry experience, in particular in the life science and natural resources sectors.
