Accounting for Value

While the second workshop focused on accounting policy, this final workshop focuses on the application of research to practical fundamental analysis and valuation. The workshop will elaborate on material in my forthcoming book, "Accounting for Value" which combines traditional fundamental analysis principles, the principles of modern finance, and accounting principles to valuation. The key idea is: valuation is actually a matter of accounting, and the two should operate under the same principles. The idea has implications, not only for valuation, but for accounting--and for research. The material distributed includes a Table of Contents, the Introduction, and Chapter 1.
