Professor Terry Shevlin is a professor of accounting, Paul Merage Chair in Business Growth, Associate Dean of Research and Director of PhD programs at the UCI Paul Merage School of Business. He earned his PhD from Stanford University in 1986 and joined the faculty at the University of Washington where he worked for 26 years until joining UCI in the summer of 2012.  He visited the University of Iowa in 1991-92.  He held the Paul Pigott/Paccar Professor of Business Administration from 2004-2012.

Associate Professor of Accounting Lee Kong Chian Fellow

Dr Holly Yang joined SMU as an Assistant Professor in 2014.  She completed her graduate studies at Cornell University in 2009 and taught at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania prior to joining.  Her research focuses on the role of individual managers in corporate disclosure and determinants of firms’ voluntary disclosure decisions.

Director, Professional Development; and Assistant Professor of Accounting (Practice)

Dr Goh is Assistant Professor of Accounting (Practice) and Director, Professional Development at the School of Accountancy, Singapore Management University. His research interests are in the areas of judgment and decision making, financial information comparability, and corporate governance.

Prior to joining SMU, Clarence led the Asia Pacific Corporate Research team at Jones Lang LaSalle (Corporate Solutions). He has also held various accounting and finance appointments with Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank.
