Message from the Programme Director

SMU-ZJU DBA (Accounting & Finance) is a joint program between SMU School of Accountancy and Zhejiang University School of Management. It is a professional doctorate program intended for entrepreneurs and senior executives with aspirations for applied research and cutting-edge business practices.

The program takes advantage of the strength of both SMU, the leading accounting & finance research university in Asia, and Zhejiang University, the premier research university in the fast-growing Southeast region of China. The professors and industry supervisors are renowned scholars in the fields of accounting, finance, economics, and management, and leading industry experts.

The program is structured to include (i) rigorous, insightful, and relevant courses that are designed to impart leading-edge knowledge and strengthen research skills; (ii) study trips and events that broaden vision and inspire creativity, and (iii) dissertation component that integrates practice and theory and pushes the frontier of business knowledge.

SMU-ZJU DBA（财务与金融）企业家学者项目是新加坡管理大学会计学院与浙江大学管理学院强强联手的合作项目。该项目是专为有志于成为商业实践与理论研究兼备的学术型企业家和高级管理者打造的专业博士学位课程。

该项目充分发挥了新加坡管理大学与浙江大学两所高校分别在亚洲财务与金融领域，以及中国东南沿海经济发达地区的一流研究优势，聘请师资力量为财务、金融、经济和管理领域知名的教授学者以及顶尖的商界领导者。
