SMU School of Accountancy has partnered Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic to offer the University Accelerated Pathway programme (UAP) for polytechnic students with effect from 2026.

Under this programme, eligible polytechnic students can apply to take selected courses in SMU before graduation, offering them the opportunity to experience firsthand the seminar-style pedagogy at SMU. Students under the UAP will also have access to SMU facilities relevant to their SMU course and can explore the campus as students.

In addition, students under the UAP who are eventually accepted into the SMU Bachelor of Accountancy (BAcc) programme, may be eligible to apply for transfer of completed course credits to their BAcc degree.
