Published onThe Conference on Digital Transformation of Financial Markets 2026 will be held on Monday 26 October 2026, at the Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium, School of Accountancy, Singapore Management University. This year's edition takes on the theme "Agentic AI and Human Collaboration in Financial Markets". We will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming core functions such as audit and assurance, risk management, and consulting—and examining the emerging applications of agentic AI working together with human expertise.

The 2nd Singapore-China Accounting Leaders Dialogue: Sustainability Reporting in Practice: Standards, Assurance, and the Future of the Profession was jointly organised by SMU, Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and Xiamen National Accounting Institute (XNAI). While interning at the Ministry of Law, Nicole Poon (Accountancy student), Toh Yue Tai (Accountancy student) and Ong Jun Quan (Law student) noticed that many people were navigating complex legal processes without a lawyer. Drawing on their backgrounds in Law and Accountancy, they turned that insight into LegalSave, an award-winning proposal to support Singapore’s underserved “legal middle”.
