Joint School Conference (Overseas)

The Joint School Conference was first introduced in October 2014, where faculty from several leading universities in the Asia-Pacific region would present and discuss their research papers, as well as exchange ideas for future research collaboration.

Since 2014, the Joint School Conference has been held in various established universities in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe.

On 25 May 2024, faculty members from SMU School of Accountancy, Xiamen National Accounting Institute, and Xiamen University came together for the Joint School Conference, where faculty members presented and discussed their research papers, as well as exchanged ideas for future research collaboration.

Friday 16 and Saturday 17 June 2023

Held on 16 and 17 June 2023, the Joint School Conference marked a much-anticipated return to an in-person format at Tilburg University, Netherlands.

Saturday 13 October 2018

On 13 October 2018, faculty from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, SMU School of Accountancy, Fudan University and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics came together for the annual Joint School Conference, where faculty would present and discuss their research papers, as well as exchange ideas for future research collaboration.

Friday 13 October 2017

The Joint School Conference was held at National Chengchi University (NCCU) in Taipei on 13 October 2017, and attended by professors from NCCU, SMU School of Accountancy and National Cheng Kung University. The one-day conference showcased research presentations by professors from each institution, with SMU represented by Assistant Professors Chang Hye Sun and Li Congcong
