The SMU-ZJU DBA (Accounting & Finance) students attended the 2nd module at SMU between 26th and 29th November 2019. The program held a China-Singapore Dialogue in SOA Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium.

The SMU-ZJU DBA (Accounting and Finance) Programme Study Trip in Shanghai

From 14th to 15th October, 2021, SMU Associate Professor of Accounting Yue Heng, and Mr Guo Xiangyu, the president of SMU Shanghai Alumni Chapter led a group of over 40 participants of the SMU-ZJU DBA (Accounting and Finance) programme on a two-day study trip to Shanghai.

The 2nd and 3rd batches of SMU-ZJU DBA(A&F) students arrived in Singapore for their Study Module from 16 May to 21 May 2023. This is also the first overseas module of the DBA program since the COVID-19 pandemic.

About the programme

The SMU-ZJU Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) (Accounting and Finance) programme is a partnership between SMU School of Accountancy and Zhejiang University School of Management. The programme is designed for scholars and senior management who aspire to pursue practice-driven research with the potential to create business impact. On top of research training, DBA candidates will examine the industrial applications of theory through coursework and develop pedagogical competencies through specialised workshops. Candidates will develop a portfolio of skills required for influencing management practice; conducting applied and field research; and teaching effectively, with a specialisation in the field of Accounting and Finance.

新加坡管理大学-浙江大学DBA企业家学者（财务与金融）项目由新加坡管理大学会计学院与浙江大学管理学院合作举办。该项目专为希望从事以实践为导向的学术研究并进一步影响商界实践的学者和高级管理人员而设计。除了学术能力训练之外，DBA项目候选人还将通过课程学习增强理论的实践应用，并通过专门的培训来发展教学能力。候选人将提升在财务和金融领域的理论学习、实践应用以及高效教学等一系列技能。
