Objective

To provide industry relevance to the academic programmes offered by the School.

Responsibilities of the Board

  • To assist in reviewing proposed changes to the curriculum of the academic programmes offered by the School
  • To advise on changes and developments in industry/professional requirements
  • To provide timely feedback on the performance of students during the internship programme and of graduates at the workplace
  • To facilitate and assist in internship arrangements
  • To facilitate collaborative research between faculty and industry/profession
  • To assist in sourcing for suitable adjunct position

Mr Lee Wai Fai joined UOB in 1989. Mr Lee holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has more than 35 years of experience in finance and administration. Prior to his current appointment, Mr Lee held senior positions in the UOB Group, including Head of international branches and regional banking subsidiaries, Deputy CEO of UOB Radanasin Bank, Head of finance as well as Head of policy and planning.

Mr Lee Wei Hock is part of EY Singapore’s leadership team and serves as Deputy Leader of its Assurance services – comprising Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, Forensic and Integrity Services, and Climate Change and Sustainability Services.

He has more than 21 years of professional experience serving listed, private and multinational clients, including audits and capital market transactions. His professional experience includes 2 years spent in New York City where he served on global client accounts under the Firm’s global exchange program.

Mr Leong Sing Chiong was appointed as Deputy Managing Director for Markets and Development on 1 February 2021. He oversees the Markets & Investment, Development & International, the FinTech & Innovation, as well as the Sustainability Groups. Prior to this, Mr Leong served as Assistant Managing Director overseeing the Monetary & Domestic Markets Management Department and the Reserves Management Department since June 2018. He also served as Assistant Managing Director of the Development and International Group from 2013-2018.

As part of the core management team responsible for management process rigor to support sustainable and strong financials for DBS Group, Judy works closely with the senior management to establish strategies, directs the Finance Functions in building a solid foundation and establishing sound financial operations.

Ms Png Chin Yee joined Temasek in July 2011 and is currently Chief Financial Officer.

Her prior roles in Temasek include Head, Financial Services, Senior Managing Director, China, and Senior Managing Director, Portfolio Strategy and Risk Group.

Prior to joining Temasek, Ms Png was Managing Director with UBS AG where she was Joint Head of the Financial Institutions Group for Asia investment banking.

Ms Png holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree with First Class Honours from the Nanyang Technological University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Ms Loretta Yuen was appointed General Counsel and Head of Group Legal and Compliance in September 2010 and Executive Vice President in June 2015. She oversees the full spectrum of legal and regulatory risks, including anti-money laundering, across OCBC Bank and its subsidiaries, and provides advice on regulatory risks and legal issues involved in decisions to management, so that management can make informed strategic choices within an acceptable legal and regulatory risk profile.
