The team was tasked to automate the visualisation & presentation of asset review data for
Millenia Singapore Cluster (specifically Millenia Tower). This includes identifying variances between budgeted and actual figures, and trend analysis.
Addressing Challenges of Pontiac’s Reporting Process which Relies on Manual Integration of Excel Tables and Charts
The team identified the following challenges in the reporting process and proposed measures to address them
1) Manual Reporting Process:
It is time-consuming, prone to errors, lacks real-time updates, and is difficult to identify variances and anomalies.
2) Lack of Interactivity in Reporting Deck:
The absence of interactive features hinders in-depth analysis and comparison between data sets.
Improve the Timeliness and Readability of the Pontiac Team’s Monthly Reporting
The group aims to improve the timeliness and readability of the Pontiac team’s monthly reporting of its consolidated Singapore-based hotel figures, using data preparation and
visualisation software to automate the process.
Optimize Profits by Prioritizing Most Profitable Target Customers and Event Types
The team made use of accounting analytics to allow UP to gain valuable insights into the revenue and profitability for each customer and type of event. The insights will empower informed decision-making by the management.
Analyzing the Feasibility of the Clinic’s Pricing Model and Designing a Compensation Package for Newly Onboarded Oncologists
The team was tasked to analyze the feasibility of the clinic’s pricing model amidst rising costs for 4 components of interest (chemotherapy facility, nursing treatment, consumables and drug compounding/preparation), and design a compensation package for newly onboarded oncologists while determining the optimal number of new doctors and/or nurses for onboarding.
Develop Models for Forecasting at ICS
The team was tasked to develop models to:
- Forecast future revenue and operating expenses
- Provide data-driven recommendations on future management decisions (hire more doctors, nurses or buy more chairs)
- Saving resources for potential investments in the future
Improving Data Collection and Verification to Monitor and Measure Environmental Footprint Accurately
The team was tasked to help FPG achieve its objective to be Asia's leading environmentally-sustainable retailer and achieve net-zero by 2050 through improvement of its data collection and verification process to accurately measure and monitor their environmental footprint.
Derive Data-Driven Insights to Better Craft Content for Target Demographics
The team was tasked to derive data-driven insights to better craft content for target demographics to help SMSDome acquire new customers and retain existing ones.
Use an Objective Data-Driven Strategy to Analyse Historical Sales & Revenue Data
The team used an objective data-driven strategy to analyse historical sales & revenue data to identify sales opportunities, such as bundling of services, promoting specific services for different industries & identifying trending services to be utilised for future sales strategy.
